Amy and Knuckles now can be seen in the islands of the main menu.Features exclusive to the Digital Deluxe version of Sonic Origins, such as extreme challenges, Mirror Mode, and additional backgrounds are included with Sonic Origins Plus.Some titles have 2P versions intended for multiplayer play, and each title can have one save state. All twelve Sonic Sega Game Gear titles have been added.New routes exclusive to Knuckles appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog CD stages.Knuckles is also now a playable character in Sonic the Hedgehog CD.The "All Clear" save file icon for completed saves with all Super Emeralds now include Amy with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.In Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Amy takes the same route as Tails, and thus the game instantly ends after defeating the Giant Eggman Robo regardless of Chaos/Super Emeralds. She can also transform into " Super Amy" upon obtaining all seven Chaos Emeralds in Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and into " Hyper Amy" after gathering the seven Super Emeralds in the latter.
Amy Rose has been added as a playable character in all four available titles.
